A TWO DAY CONFERENCE FOR PRIMARY AND SPECIAL SCHOOL LEADERS
This two day course will help school leaders to develop their monitoring and evaluation skills to further improve their schools.
It will enable leaders to fully understand the new Evaluation Schedule to secure the best possible outcomes from inspection.
Course participants will be introduced to ‘Seven Simple Steps To School Improvement’.

Who should attend?
This conference is open to headteachers, senior leaders in primary schools who are looking for new approaches to establishing highly effective systems for monitoring and evaluating the work of their schools.
What are the key aims and themes?
Day 1 will focus on the new Evaluation Schedule to:
ensure full understanding of the expectations for inspection
further develop analytical and interpretation skills of data, including the use of the new RAISEonline
the development of explicit links between outcomes, quality of provision and leadership and management.
Day 2 will focus on:
An introduction to ‘Seven Simple Steps To School Improvement’
collecting evidence for robust self-evaluation
developing leaders’ evaluation skills as well as providing helpful guidance to support SEF writing
supporting leaders in embedding highly effective systems for moderating the quality of teaching and use of assessment
establishing a positive behaviour for learning and ensuring pupils’ safety
